Job summary

Triple-S Steel in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to evaluate customer creditworthiness, set credit limits, and manage collections while supporting growth. You will partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to balance risk and business objectives.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; 5+ years in commercial credit; proficiency with ERP, Excel, and reporting; on-site work schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial credit and collections experience.
• Experience in construction-related industries serving contractors.
• Proven ability to evaluate creditworthiness and make credit recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical aptitude.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; able to prepare reports.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain credit and collections records in ERP system.
• Validate and approve sales tax exemptions.
• Analyze credit and financial information.
• Assign credit limits within authority matrix.
• Communicate credit holds to Sales and customers.
• Prepare AR portfolio risk analysis report.
• Take collection actions and manage disputes.
