Bray Controls, part of Bray International, seeks a seasoned Credit Release & Credit Specialist in Houston to manage credit requests and release orders while balancing customer service with risk. The role partners with Sales and branch personnel to resolve account issues and ensure policy compliance.

You will monitor payment status, maintain accurate records, and escalate high-risk cases to management, supporting continuous improvement in credit hold processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate collections or related credit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years in a multi-location processing environment using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and process credit-related requests from the shared inbox.
• Evaluate accounts and determine actions for credit-hold orders.
• Release orders per policy, approved limits, and payment status.
• Communicate with Sales/branches to resolve credit holds and fulfil orders.
• Research account status and supporting docs for credit decisions.
