Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Credit Support Specialist to join our in-office team. You’ll support the Credit Department with lien waivers, credit card payments, daily deposits and account research.

The role handles calls and inquiries, prepares waivers, processes payments in Eclipse and Billtrust, and maintains documentation. A High School diploma and 2+ years of office or accounting experience are required; US work authorization is a must. We offer full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of advanced education or a degree in accounting or general business are preferred.
• 2+ years of office experience.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer calls and e-mails, in personal and department mailboxes, under the direction of the credit analysts and credit manager to fulfill requests.
• Research and prepare lien waivers, follow-up, and file waivers in customer files with supporting documentation.
• Process daily and monthly credit card payments using stored card information in Eclipse and Billtrust; forward backup docs for payments.
• Prepare and process daily cashbox deposits; review Tax Exemption Certificates in Eclipse and contact customers for updated certificates.
• Assist with refunds, vendor forms, disputed AR items, and updating customer contact information.
