Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related operations.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enforces credit and collection policies, procedures, internal controls, and approval guidelines.
• Evaluates customer creditworthiness via financial info, credit reports, trade references, and payment history.
• Approves, denies, establishes, and reviews credit limits and payment terms per policy.
• Monitors aging, credit exposure, delinquent accounts, and collection activity to reduce risk and improve cash flow.
• Directs collection efforts on past-due accounts, including plans, holds, and escalation as needed.
• Oversee filing and monitoring of liens, judgments, and related documentation.
• Reviews high-risk accounts and recommends reserves or settlements.
• Prepares reports on receivables, aging trends, and credit metrics.
