Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; three (3) years experience in accounting/bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounts receivable and collection operations.
• Reviews and evaluates credit applications; establishes credit limits.
• Contacts customers to collect overdue payments and manages delinquent accounts.
• Prepares paperwork prior to legal action for severely delinquent accounts; submits delinquent accounts to attorney or outside agency.
• Maintains organized customer files and daily bookkeeping to ensure proper records.
• Ensures compliance with company procedures and safeguarding personal information.
