Job summary

Ledgent in Torrance, CA is seeking a Credit and Collections Supervisor to lead a team of Analysts, evaluate credit risk, manage collections and deductions, and resolve discrepancies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits and financial analysis, and drive process improvements using AI and automation while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of Credit & Collections experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, reporting, and analysis).
• Working knowledge of AI and automation tools.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or similar industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of Credit & Collections Analysts.
• Review customer credit risk and provide recommendations on credit approvals and limits.
• Oversee collections activities and support resolution of past-due accounts.
• Manage customer deductions and claims, including promotional allowances, pricing disputes, returns, and contractual deductions.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and complex reconciliations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address customer issues and facilitate order releases.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as an escalation point for account concerns.
• Support audits, reporting, and financial analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of AI and automation tools to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
