Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4+ years of AR/collections experience.
• Experience with payment, invoicing, daily balancing, database management, customer aging analysis, and AR reporting.
• ERP or route-accounting systems; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead and manage customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned customer portfolio, maintain AR aging, and drive timely recovery of balances.
• Reconcile customer statements, credits, invoices, and balances; provide supporting docs.
• Conduct proactive collection activities, set payment expectations, and document interactions.
• Identify credit-risk and bad-debt accounts; recommend actions and escalate issues.
• Prepare AR reports, support credit checks and DSO targets, and improve collection practices.
