Job summary

M-D Building Products in Oklahoma City seeks an Accounts Receivable & Credit Analyst to strengthen cash flow and reduce DSO. You will evaluate creditworthiness, process new credit applications, monitor aging, apply payments, and resolve deductions while partnering with Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in accounts receivable, credit, or collections.
• Experience analyzing credit risk and setting credit limits.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems.
• Bachelor's/associate degree preferred in relevant field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze new customer credit applications and due diligence.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and recommend credit limits and terms.
• Perform periodic credit reviews and monitor payment trends.
• Monitor AR aging, past-due balances, and deductions.
• Contact customers about past-due invoices and resolve issues.
• Research, analyze, and resolve deductions and discrepancies.
• Collect, apply, and allocate customer payments; reconcile accounts.
• Review credit holds and authorize releases within policy.
• Support new customer account setup and tax documentation.
• Utilize Oracle and customer portals to research transactions.
