CDW is seeking an AR Associate Consultant in Chicago to manage accounts receivable operations, optimize cash flow, and minimize bad debt. You will oversee cash application, rebills, and controls, while collaborating across the business with internal stakeholders to sustain portfolio health.

The role requires a finance or accounting background, AR experience, and a proven ability to improve processes, communicate effectively, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 4 years of AR experience in B2B finance operations.
• Independent, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Thorough knowledge of AR principles, billing, cash application, and credit management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal negotiation/communication with customers and stakeholders.
• ERP systems experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support collections strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize cash flow.
• Ensure timely cash application and rebills for customer and partner cases.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and SOX controls.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
• Suggest workflow improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
• Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders; involve right people in discussions.
• Share insights and root cause analysis with upstream/downstream teams.
• Reduce reactive tasks; focus on preventative and detection opportunities.
• Adhere to internal controls and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior AR Services members.
