Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in a relevant field.
• Strong GPA (3.0 on 4.0 scale) required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Available for a 12-week summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to credit philosophies for short, intermediate and long-term financing.
• Learn resources and techniques for underwriting loans.
• Make decisions on new and existing loan applications.
• Input customer financial information and analyze balance sheets, income statements and cash flows.
• Attend and participate in team meetings; complete special projects as assigned.
• Promote Farm Credit Services of America and related associations during public activities.
