Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit, a member-owned financial cooperative, offers a full-time internship program for college students in business, finance, ag economics, and related fields. Interns gain exposure to credit/lending, crop insurance, country home lending, and appraisal while working with a designated coach on a research project.

Compensation is $22.00 per hour with a housing stipend for those needing temporary housing.

Qualifications

• Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, ag economics, ag business, or related field
• Preference for Juniors (expected graduation in 2028)
• Coursework related to ag business, finance, accounting, economics, farm and ranch management, business management, marketing, and related courses
• Strong communication, analytical and computer skills, and teamwork demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular activities and / or outside work experience
• An agricultural background is desirable, but not a requirement
