Viking Electric in Addison, IL is hiring a Credit Analyst for a full-time, in-office role. You’ll manage day-to-day credit activities, respond to customer inquiries, and maintain accounts receivable in line with objectives.

The position requires 2–3 years in commercial credit or A/R collections and a 4-year business-related degree. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel lightly, with hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in commercial credit or accounts receivable collections, preferably in electrical construction.
• Four-year degree in a business-related field (e.g. accounting, finance) or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Limited travel.
• Willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day credit department tasks and maintain DSO and past-due accounts receivable as per objectives.
• Respond to inquiries from customers and associates; resolve problems and authorize orders while maintaining goodwill.
• Manage sales tax collection and documentation for states served.
• Meet monthly with account managers to review Joint Account Review processes and coach sales on collections.
• Monitor credit limits and authorize shipments; handle invoices and payment documents.
