Responsibilities

• Review credit applications, financial statements, credit reports, payment history, and other financial information.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend limits and terms.
• Establish and maintain customer credit files and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Monitor existing accounts for changes in payment trends, exposure and risk.
• Perform periodic credit reviews and adjust limits as needed.
• Collaborate with sales, collections, customer service and accounting teams to resolve credit issues.
• Investigate credit concerns and identify potential risks before they impact the business.
• Review aging reports, balances and exposure to identify high-risk accounts.
• Communicate credit status and documentation with customers.
• Assist with reporting, reconciliations and other credit/AR activities.

As the Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating customer creditworthiness, establishing and monitoring credit limits, and helping the organization balance sales growth with effective risk management.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing credit applications, financial statements, credit reports, payment history, and other financial information
• Evaluating customer creditworthiness and making recommendations regarding credit limits and payment terms
• Establishing and maintaining customer credit files and ensuring documentation is accurate and current
• Monitoring existing customer accounts for changes in payment trends, exposure, and overall credit risk
• Performing periodic credit reviews and recommending adjustments to credit limits when appropriate
• Partnering with sales, collections, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve credit-related issues
• Investigating credit concerns and identifying potential risks before they impact the business
• Reviewing aging reports, account balances, and credit exposure to identify accounts requiring additional attention
• Communicating professionally with customers regarding credit documentation, account status, and financial information
• Assisting with reporting, account reconciliations, and other credit and accounts receivable activities as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role
• Experience reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and customer payment history
• Strong understanding of credit risk, accounts receivable, and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working within ERP or accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify financial risks and trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, proactive, and collaborative approach to working with customers and internal business partners
