Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Credentials Coordinator onsite in St. Helena, CA to manage the credentialing lifecycle for medical staff. The role collaborates with physicians, hospital leadership, and internal departments to ensure accurate credentialing and compliance.

The ideal candidate has CPCS or CPMSM certification and at least 2 years of credentialing experience, with strong knowledge of regulatory standards and credentialing databases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Staff Credentialing experience.
• CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) OR CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management) certification.
• Strong understanding of medical staff credentialing processes, primary source verification, regulatory compliance, and medical staff databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing from initial appointment through reappointment.
• Complete primary source verification and maintain accurate credential files.
• Coordinate provider privileging and FPPE (focused professional practice evaluations).
• Support provider onboarding, including system access, orientation, and badge coordination.
• Maintain the Medical Staff database with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission, CMS, and regulatory standards.
• Handle confidential medical staff information with professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and internal departments throughout the credentialing process.
