Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Staff Credentialing experience.
• Current CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) or CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management) certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing from initial appointment through reappointment.
• Complete primary source verification and maintain accurate credential files.
• Coordinate provider privileging and FPPE.
• Support provider onboarding, including system access, orientation, and badge coordination.
• Maintain the Medical Staff database with attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission, CMS, and regulatory standards.
• Handle confidential medical staff information with professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and internal departments throughout the credentialing process.
