Job summary

The Credentialing Program Assistant at the Portland VA Medical Center supports the Medical Staff Office under the Chief of Staff. You will analyze clinical evaluation plans, manage data, and advise VAMC leadership on C&P processes.

Responsibilities include assembling packages for the Medical Staff Committee, developing OPPE/FPPE elements, and generating data-driven reports for management. This is a daytime, on-site role at the Portland facility.

• Strong coordination with clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes clinical evaluation plans to ensure standards are met and appropriate for LIP competence.
• Coordinates with providers when plans lack information and assembles complete MLP packages.
• Develops OPPE/FPPE processes and privilege forms, and analyzes facility report cards.
• Extracts data from VA repositories using Access/Excel to present findings to supervisors.
