Job summary

Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks is seeking a Credentialing Program Assistant to work with leadership, healthcare providers and administrative teams to manage FPPE/OPPE for C&P programs. You will guide processes and implement credentialing requirements.

Your role includes processing documentation, assembling packets for medical staff committees, and generating reports to ensure compliance with Joint Commission and VA standards. Telework eligibility may be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to complete USA Hire assessments.

Responsibilities

• Process credentialing and privileging documentation for providers.
• Assemble credentialing packets for Medical Staff Committees.
• Generate credentialing reports and compliance tracking.
• Perform primary source verifications (licenses, NPDB, certifications).
• Track FPPE/OPPE completion and monitoring requirements.
• Coordinate with external agencies (licensing boards, NPDB).
• Maintain credentialing records in compliance with regulations and audits.
