Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks a Supervisor, Credentialing Operations to lead the GBC Credentialing team. This hybrid leadership role drives onboarding, ongoing education, and staff development, ensuring accurate, timely credentialing and enrollment so providers are billing-ready without revenue delays.

The role oversees training materials, audits, and escalation paths, while maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency in a complex payer environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all GBC Credentialing team and oversee day-to-day task alignment with goals
• Deliver coaching sessions, 1:1s, and performance evaluations
• Develop employee growth and succession planning strategies
• Foster accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement
• Monitor productivity and quality metrics; manage workload distribution
• Serve as SME for credentialing and market functions; explain the why behind steps
• Educate on delegated vs non-delegated and government enrollment pathways
• Teach where handoffs occur between credentialing, PSV, and government teams
• Prepare groundwork: review sources, trace root causes, validate details, assess impact
• Ensure training aligns with policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards
