Role: Certified Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Flexible hourly rate based on experience
Schedule: 4 days per week with rotating Saturdays

What Veterinary Technicians (CVT) Do

As a Certified Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an active role in patient care and the practice's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting exam room appointments and patient care
  • Performing laboratory‑related duties within your training and experience
  • Preparing patients and the clinical area for surgery
  • Assisting with dentistry
  • Monitoring anesthesia
  • Placing IV catheters and performing phlebotomy
  • Educating clients with friendliness, clarity, and compassion
  • Assisting with reception responsibilities as needed
  • Maintaining clean, organized patient‑care and work areas
  • Providing compassionate care to clients and patients
  • Collaborating with the veterinary team to support thorough, high‑quality medicine
  • Continuing to learn and develop your technical skills
