Job summary

Long Trail Veterinary Center is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. This full-time role offers day shifts, with no night work, and the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive veterinary team.

We seek someone with veterinary technician experience who can assist during exams, support anesthesia, dental procedures, phlebotomy, and client communication. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during appointments and patient exams
  • Support diagnostic treatments and patient care
  • Assist with anesthesia and patient monitoring
  • Prepare patients and the surgical suite for procedures
  • Perform dental cleanings and support dental procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy, including blood draws and IV catheter placement
  • Assist with pharmacy duties and medication preparation
  • Process laboratory samples
  • Communicate with clients about their pets’ care
  • Schedule appointments and surgical procedures
  • Safely restrain and handle patients
  • Assist with radiology and diagnostic imaging
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
