Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Provide compassionate daily care to hospitalized and recovering patients.
  • Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pocket pets, reptiles, and other species.
  • Communicate with clients and provide clear, compassionate education about their pets’ care.
  • Prepare laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing.
  • Assist with obtaining diagnostic radiographs.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist veterinarians during surgeries and dental procedures.
  • Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to the veterinary team.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment and patient-care areas.
  • Assist with cleaning, laundry, and other tasks that keep the hospital running smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow established hospital protocols

  • Salary: Starting at $18.00 per hour, with higher compensation based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7-9-hour days and every other Saturday 8-1
