  • Current Veterinary Technician certification or credentialing.
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and patient recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and obtain histories, vitals, and assessments.
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Provide high‑quality nursing care from intake through discharge.
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and fluid therapy.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
  • Obtain radiographs and assist with diagnostics.
  • Run in‑house laboratory tests.
  • Support surgical and dental procedures and monitor anesthesia and recovery.
  • Educate clients with compassion and confidence.
  • Maintain patient records and clean, organized exam areas.

Salary: $26.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and licensure

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care from intake through discharge
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
