Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is seeking a credentialed veterinary technician to join Kings Crossings Animal Hospital in Texas. You will work to the top of your license, providing anesthesia, dentistry and in-house diagnostics while mentoring assistants.

The role offers a structured career ladder with multiple technician levels, leadership stipends, paid CE, PTO, health benefits, 401(k) and mental health support. Schedule is full-time with flexible shifts and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RVT state license (RVT/LVT/CVT accepted).
• Evidence of credentialing drives patient care and leadership.
• Strong clinical skills in anesthesia, dentistry, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Lead anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery for patients.
• Perform dentistry radiographs and dental charting per DVM directions.
• Conduct in-house diagnostics and sample collection.
• Provide nursing care and triage with high patient safety standards.
• Lead tech appointments and mentor assistants/externs.

Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader

As a Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT), you will be encouraged to work to the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient‑first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.

You will primarily utilize your skills in:

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
• Dentistry: Full‑mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
• Diagnostics: High‑quality radiography/positioning, in‑house lab analysis, and sample collection.
• Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
• Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
