Destination Pet LLC is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in New York to join our well-equipped general practice. You will work to the top of your license, supporting anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing care while leading clinical teams.

We offer a $28–$34/hr wage, $1,000 sign-on, generous CE allowance, PTO, leadership ladders, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and mental health support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York state Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license.
• Proficiency in surgery and dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and monitoring.
• Dentistry: full-mouth radiography, charting, periodontal therapy.
• Diagnostics: in-house lab, radiography, sample collection.
• Nursing & Triage: patient monitoring and wound care.
• Workflow Leadership: lead tech appointments and mentor assistants.

Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), you will be encouraged to work to the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently. You will primarily utilize your skills in:

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
• Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
• Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
• Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
• Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
