Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company is seeking a Social & Creator Revenue Lead to steer WRAL Media’s social strategy, page management, creative testing, and revenue initiatives across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Substack, and emerging platforms.

You will develop talent and creator strategies around WRAL personalities and formats, protect existing passive revenue, and test new branded-content opportunities while collaborating with Brand, News, and Sales to monetize opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience; five+ years in social media strategy with revenue responsibility.
• Proven track record growing audiences and monetizing on YouTube, Meta, X, Threads, and Substack.
• Experience managing talent, creators, or influencer programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with editorial judgment.
• Ability to balance audience growth with brand protection and revenue development.

Responsibilities

• Owns social platform strategy, page management, creative testing, and revenue strategy across major channels.
• Covers YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Substack, and emerging platforms.
• Builds talent and creator strategy around WRAL Media personalities, shows, franchises, and repeatable formats.
• Protects passive revenue while developing new social inventory, branded-content tests, and unique creative packages.
• Tests, measures, and optimizes creative to grow audience, engagement, and monetization.
• Partners with Brand, News, and Sales to package social and creator opportunities for advertisers.
