Job summary

Monks in Los Angeles seeks a Creative Talent Discovery Manager to recruit, hire, and retain our North America team of full-time creative talent. This is a full-time contract role through the end of 2026, with the option to extend based on need.

You will bridge ambitious creative needs with top-tier full-time talent—ranging from Art Directors, Copywriters, and Motion Designers to Executive Producers, Artists, and Directors. Leverage a deep network and sharp eye for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in creative recruiting, creative resourcing, or talent producer roles in ad agency/production/in-house teams.
• Existing active network across creative, design, editorial, and production disciplines.
• Ability to evaluate portfolios, reels, and work samples to meet team quality standards.
• Strong salary negotiation skills and managing full-time salary expectations and headcount budgets.
• Experience using resource management platforms and ATS systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to pitch opportunities and negotiate terms.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, interviewing, and pipeline building for full-time creative and production talent across disciplines.
• Source niche talent (animators, 3D artists, AI creative specialists) ahead of headcount needs.
• Build relationships with Casting, Creative Directors, Producers, and Ops leads to match briefs and budgets.
• Oversee offers, onboarding paperwork, and salary discussions; support headcount budgeting.
