Job summary

Brand New School in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Talent Manager to lead our talent department across LA and NY studios. The role requires 5+ years in creative talent management and staffing, with a strong network of freelance artists and deep industry knowledge from design to emerging disciplines.

You will oversee the internal roster, source and book freelance talent, negotiate rates and availability, and partner with Producers and Heads of Production to staff projects effectively in a hybrid,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in talent management, staffing, or a related role in the creative industry.
• Proven experience leading a talent, staffing, or recruiting function or team.
• Extensive network of freelance creative talent across disciplines.
• Strong understanding of design, animation, VFX, CG and related production landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop internal Talent team members with direction and feedback.
• Establish and maintain efficient talent management processes and best practices.
• Anticipate staffing needs based on projects, studio bandwidth, and evolving capabilities.
• Staff projects across LA, UK, and NY in collaboration with Producers and Heads of Production.
