Job summary

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is seeking a Creative Services Coordinator to assist the production of graphic design projects for advertising, marketing, and signage. Responsibilities include organizing photo archives, maintaining visual identity, and supporting email marketing design.

Collaboration with the Digital Media Coordinator and various Zoo departments is essential to deliver high-quality materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or related fields preferred.
Minimum 6 months of related professional experience.
Two to three years working on graphic design projects preferred.
Proficient knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, HTML5 or CSS preferred but not required.
Mac Pro system proficiency; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assist production of in-house design work including publications, signage, and advertising.
Develop and maintain consistent visual identities to boost marketing initiatives.
Coordinate project timelines, vendor management, and billing.
Collaborate with Zoo departments for events, signs, and marketing requests.
Assist with email marketing design; collaborate with Digital Media Coordinator.
Organize and maintain photo archives and digital graphics library.
Keep abreast of graphic trends and software updates.
Contribute to the Zoo's mission and DEAI goals.
Adhere to policies and procedures of the Zoo.
