Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Cook to prepare quality dishes in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with proper food handling techniques. You will follow recipes, maintain portion control and presentation, and help ensure inventory and prep work for the next shift.

The role requires the ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, with a focus on food safety, sanitation, and timely service in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience preferred.
• Experience with safe food handling techniques and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items in a timely, efficient manner following recipes and standard procedures.
• Follow recipes to control production, maintain consistency and freshness.
• Maintain proper temperature control and quality of dishes.
• Break down and store leftovers; use FIFO when storing stock.
• Assist with prep work for upcoming shifts and inventory tasks.
• Ensure daily sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
• Report any items in need of repair and follow safety guidelines.
