Job summary

Michaels Stores in Twin Falls, ID is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and deliver kid-focused parties and in-store events, while helping customers shop, locate products, and maintain store standards for safety and cleanliness.

You will engage with guests of all ages, demonstrate crafts, coordinate party add-ons, manage communications with clients and team members, handle emails and calls, and adapt plans to client feedback, including after-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience with children’s events strongly preferred.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings/weekends and adapt to customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate kid-focused events and in-store classes.
• Engage with guests of all ages and provide friendly assistance.
• Demonstrate crafts and supervise party activities.
• Coordinate party add-ons (goody bags, balloons, etc.) and communicate plans to clients and team.
• Handle emails, phone calls, and paperwork related to events.
