Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Creative Operations Lead for Business Marketing in San Francisco. You will run creative resourcing, budgeting, and studio operations across internal teams, contractors, and agencies, balancing ongoing campaigns with launches.

You will drive capacity planning, staffing systems, and AI-enabled workflows to improve briefing, production speed, and quality while maintaining process rigor and cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience owning creative operations, resourcing, or integrated production across multiple disciplines.
• Strong understanding of design, copy, motion, video, and web production, including briefs, dependencies, and review cycles.
• Track record designing staffing/capacity/intake systems used in fast-paced environments.
• Judgment on in-house vs contractors vs self-service and balancing speed, cost, and craft.

Responsibilities

• Own creative resourcing and studio operations across internal teams, contractors, and agencies.
• Build capacity planning and staffing systems balancing durable campaigns with fast-moving launches.
• Translate briefs to staffing plans and identify priorities with Strategy & Operations.
• Find solutions to tight resource constraints: adjust scope, batch work, reuse assets, or enable self-service.
• Manage agency capacity and budgets with clear scope, timing, costs, and quality.
• Forecast costs and surface risks; adjust resource mix with Business Operations.
