Job summary

Disney Topeka is seeking a Creative Supervisor to lead localization efforts, ensuring consistency across languages and alignment with Disney language standards. You will coordinate casting, dialogue edits, and final approvals in collaboration with dubbing directors and translators.

The role requires strong collaboration across departments, English fluency, and a solid track record in related creative leadership roles. Disney familiarity and ProTools knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Solid industry experience e.g. as a dubbing director, translator / adaptor, musical director.
• Track record of successful projects and creative leadership.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to achieve common goals.
• Fluent in English and strong language skills.
• Familiarity with Disney, Pixar, Star Wars/ Lucasfilm characters is ideal.
• Familiarity with ProTools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Creative approvals including casting, lyric edits, and dialogues aligned with regional tips.
• Supervise recording and mixing both remotely and in-studio.
• Select freelance directors and writers/adaptors for projects.
• Brief the creative crew on casting and variation.
• Oversee translations/edits for subtitling and entry to services as required.
• Translate/edit dialogues and lyrics as needed.
• Contribute to localization responses such as narrative inserts.
• Ensure localization meets brand language compliance and regional norms.
• Approve character names and phrases (CAT).
