Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in Santa Clara, CA, for Amazon. The role focuses on safe kitchen operations, creative menu execution, and cost-conscious cooking.

You will oversee back-of-house staff, ensure quality and presentation, and contribute to program rollouts with marketing and culinary teams to deliver outstanding dining experiences.

Qualifications

• B.S. or A.O.S. in Culinary Arts required or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of culinary experience.
• Knowledge of food cost and kitchen operations.
• ServSafe/HACCP certification required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef to ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Motivate and train back-of-house staff to meet operation objectives.
• Ensure high quality, cost-effective food preparation.
• Assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
• Support cost control and expenditures for the account.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
