Job summary

Michaels North Conway, NH is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and coordinate in-store events, including kids birthday parties, while delivering a fun and engaging guest experience. You will assist customers, manage checkout, and support store operations to uphold Michaels Brand promises.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience with children’s events preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store (e.g., kids birthday parties and crafts).
• Engage customers of all ages and assist with locating products and solutions.
• Demonstrate crafts, teach activities, and manage party add-ons (goody bags, balloons).
• Handle administrative tasks (emails, calls) and communicate events to clients and team.
• Support store operations including checkout, stocking, and cleanliness.
