Aramark Corporation is seeking a Cook to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. You will cook and prepare diverse dishes, set up workstations, measure and prep ingredients, and operate kitchen equipment following standardized recipes and safety guidelines.

You will maintain cleanliness, adhere to food safety policies, and deliver quality customer service while contributing to a collaborative kitchen team. This on-site role supports ongoing operations across Aramark locations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as sanitation and storage
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
• Stores food properly following safety policies
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor
• Follows Aramark safety policies and procedures
• Ensures security of company assets
