Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and safe handling.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods per production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping as needed.
• Safely use utensils and operate cooking equipment (ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.).
• Cook using multiple methods (baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, etc.).
• Maintain food safety, sanitation and orderly work areas; provide courteous guest service.
