Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team and help bring recipes to life with creativity. You will work with fresh ingredients and top equipment, exploring different cuisines and cooking styles while following production guidelines and safety procedures.

You will prepare a variety of dishes, maintain clean work areas, and ensure food is stored and served in line with safety policies. The role requires cooking experience and a basic proficiency in math and communication with guests and team

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives and operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food safely by following food safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
