You’ll set up stations, prep ingredients, and cook using varied methods. The role includes maintaining sanitation, following policies, and delivering friendly customer service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Cooks with various methods on meat, vegetables and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food per food safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
