Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety regulations
• Ability to obtain food safety certification
• Ability to perform basic math
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping
• Safely use utensils including knives and kitchen tools
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment
• Cook using various methods for meats, vegetables, and other foods
• Garnish, portion, and store foods per guidelines
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and positive demeanor
• Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets
