Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join the team. You’ll cook and prepare a variety of foods, following recipes and production guidelines, using fresh ingredients and standard equipment.

You will set up workstations, measure and prep ingredients, and safely operate ovens, stoves, and mixers. A focus on food safety and maintaining clean areas, with excellent guest service, is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods.
• Ability to follow food safety regulations including handling, sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Strong math/counting skills and clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods following recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Cook using multiple methods and arrange portions per guidelines.
