Aramark is seeking a cook to bring recipes to life in a setting surrounded by fresh ingredients and top equipment. You will explore flavors, create diverse dishes, and follow production guidelines and safety procedures while delivering great service.

The role emphasizes learning new skills, adaptability, and contributing to a team that values health, safety, and guest satisfaction. Compensation is hourly with growth opportunities at various locations.

Qualificações

• Experience as a cook or in a related role
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and safety regulations
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills; good communication

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling
• Safely uses utensils including knives
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
