Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and various cooking methods.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with others.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment needed.
• Measure, weigh, chop, trim, and prep ingredients.
• Safely use knives and kitchen utensils.
• Operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Cook using diverse methods: bake, roast, steam, broil.
• Plate and portion food per guidelines and standards.
• Store and sanitize food and workspace per safety rules.
• Provide excellent guest service and maintain a positive attitude.
