Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity, working surrounded by fresh ingredients and top equipment. You will follow production guidelines, prepare a variety of foods, and ensure safety and sanitation across the kitchen.

In this role you’ll set up stations, measure ingredients, and collaborate with team to deliver quality meals while providing friendly service to guests. Food safety certification may be pursued as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math/counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Sets up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses multiple cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food per guidelines.
• Stores food properly according to safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
