Job summary

Drawing Room in NYC Midtown and Williamsburg invites a friendly, hands-on Host to lead Open Hours and organize events. This on-site role focuses on creating welcoming, creative experiences for members and guests, checking in attendees, guiding tours, and keeping the space inviting.

You’ll manage space setup, prepare tea and coffee, help with the Art Library, assist with bookings and purchases, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing service roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle uncertain environments.
• Availability for weekends and weeknights, including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Host Open Hours each week and multiple events per month at two NYC locations.
• Welcome members and guests, check-in, give tours, and explain Draw Room offerings.
• Care for the Art Library, restock supplies, and maintain organized materials.
• Provide guest and member support, assist with check-ins, purchases, and bookings.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, inventory, and daily administrative tasks to keep the space running smoothly.
• Promote offerings and Journey programs to help guests find their best creative path.
