Job summary

Harps Food Stores is seeking a Cake Decorator to support bakery operations, preparation, and merchandising while delivering excellent customer service. You will ensure products are prepared, labeled, and displayed following safety standards and company guidelines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to procedures, teamwork, and a focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED recommended.
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, mornings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
Ability to stand and walk continuously during shift.
Experience with food safety guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support bakery department operations including readiness, staffing, pricing, and cleanliness.
Assist in bakery replenishment, inventory, receiving, and back stock processes.
Merchandise and maintain displays, signage, and zone procedures.
Ensure products are properly packaged, weighed, priced, and labeled.
Adhere to food safety production guidelines and use approved cleaning procedures.
Maintain safe operation of equipment and adhere to safety guidelines.
Build relationships with customers and provide courteous service.
