Job summary

Harps is seeking a Cake Decorator to join our bakery team in Tennessee. You will help ensure fresh, accurately labeled products, maintain department cleanliness, and support inventory and displays.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, adherence to safety standards, and dependable teamwork in a fast-paced store environment. You will handle merchandising, production, and adherence to company guidelines while upholding quality and food safety across the department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and department cleaning guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Bakery Department Operations – support department readiness, staffing, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department financial goals and objectives, cleanliness, and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Bakery Department Replenishment & inventory procedures – ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks, supply use and inventory preparation.
• Merchandising & Sales Floor Standards – proper stocking, rotation, signing, displays, sampling and department zoning procedures.
• Equipment and Tools – adhere to equipment procedures, including cleaning and maintenance.
• Food Production and Processing – follow food safety production guidelines, proper packaging, weighing and labeling.
• Department Cleaning Standards – follow cleaning standards and use of approved chemicals.
