Job summary

Complete Care seeks an Activities Assistant to transform daily life for residents through art, music, and meaningful connection. You’ll lead creative programs, host therapeutic activities, and collaborate with a caring team on a full-time schedule Tuesday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• Creative background in arts, music, or therapeutic recreation is valued.
• Ability to lead groups with enthusiasm and work well in a team.
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with seniors in mind.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist with event setup.

Responsibilities

• Creative Program Leadership: design and run group and one-on-one activities (art, music, games).
• Resident Connection: engage residents to rediscover passions and stay active.
• Collaborative Planning: partner with Activities Director for events and seasonal celebrations.
• Holistic Coordination: maintain organized space and ready supplies.
• Clinical Collaboration: record participation and share observations with nursing team.
