Job summary

Extended Care LLC is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activity Aide to enrich residents' daily living through engaging programs. You will facilitate group and individual activities, document admissions and transfers, and help create activity calendars, ensuring safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities, as identified in assessments and care plans.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar and coordinating events.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings.
