Job summary

The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing seeks an Activity Assistant to encourage fun and creativity with our residents, working with the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities for residents in our nursing home.

The role involves direct resident interaction, involvement in activities on a varied schedule that includes every other weekend and some holidays, and documenting participation for the care team.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with a wide range of residents, including those living with dementia and/or mental health challenges.

• Set-up, lead, and clean up group activities.
• Assist residents to and from group activities.
