Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to transform daily life of residents through art, music, and meaningful connections. You’ll design and lead programs, from painting workshops to therapeutic social hours, acting as a curator of joyful experiences.

Collaborate with the Activities Director to brainstorm and execute events, manage supplies, and document participation to support holistic resident care.

Qualifications

• Creative background in art, music, or therapeutic recreation.
• Ability to lead groups with energy and teamwork.
• Experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with elderly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for event setup.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead art, music, and social activities.
• Foster resident connections and encourage participation.
• Coordinate with Activities Director on events and celebrations.
• Maintain a well-organized creative space and inventory.
• Document participation and share observations with nursing staff.
